Embrace your being and unleash what’s locked in the body, with Ingrid Nagl.
This is an afternoon of exploring creative ways of connecting with yourself and others through mindfulness meditation, movement, drawing and sharing with each other.
While engaging with practices you can use in your daily life, you will get an opportunity to delve into who you are in the present, in relationship with yourself, and others.
We will look at the obvious, as well as the more hidden parts of ourselves, which are harder to accept, and can get in the way of loving ourselves as a whole. Once we are aware of aspects of ourselves that have been hidden, we can accept, express and release, what has been holding us back from being who we truly are.
Mindfulness practice – observing, becoming aware of what is real
Movement – sensing and feeling into the body, moving and releasing blockages
Drawing – creative expression of unconscious aspects
Sharing – verbalising, speaking your truth, being seen and heard, accepting and integrating.
Ingrid Rose Nagl – trained as a social-worker in Austria, MHSc in Psychotherapy at AUT, NZ; is passionate about dance, yoga and meditation; and likes to share what she has learnt from those disciplines, and how they continue to assist her on her personal healing journey, on the way of coming home to herself, being with what is, and feeling part of a greater whole.
