Yep the world famous Stewart Island Singles Ball is on again. We have had five weddings and hundreds of hook ups so I know it's working. How much you say? 50 bucks, cheap as chips. The whole island goes into discount mode you get two bands; they are Lipstick from Invers and The Business from Queenstown. You also get a continuous seafood supper and giveaways and hopefully find the love of your life. If not you will meet new friends, that I guarantee, and a 3am bonfire on the beach.

You may want to come a couple of days before the ball to have a good look around as this is held in a national park. You may want to stay a day or two after the ball as others have done. To book a ticket from the South Sea Hotel and Accommodation call 032191059 and at Invercargill i-Site 032146243. One of the best ways to see the island is to fly in and take the ferry home.

Tickets on sale mid-April 2011. In the six years we have raised over $60,000 for charities, and this year's is still to be added up.

ok the 2010 stewart island singles ball made just over 10.000 for charites not bad that brings it up to around 70.000 in six years weal dune lets keep it up it has gone to walk 4 life / stewart island players / / and rug rats // and to pay for the bands still around 5000 laft

the rock 4 rakiura went of rely good night 5000 bucks for our nersis clinic i think it whas like a singles ball ther whor hook ups i evin playd a hand in seting peppl up as i do a big thanks to all see yous at the singles ball remember whe start on the friday night at the south sea hotel a big thanks to the bands and yes the same bands will be at the singles ball lets get it on
