Join us every Saturday as the Atrium comes alive with stories of the people who live along the world’s great rivers and share their music rituals, food and the ebbs and flows of their river life.
This Weekend, our final lives event: The Volga River, Russia
Volga-Matushka "Mother Volga" is the name given to the Volga River in Russian folklore and literature. Join "Studio Premiere" on behalf of the Auckland Russian Community to hear traditional and contemporary Russian songs linked to the Volga River. Take part in an elaborate tea ceremony Russian style which includes a doll in beautiful Russian dress and enjoy tastings of 'kvas', a traditional Russian drink.
