The Run Jump Throw Cross Country series aims to increase the participation opportunities for primary school children in recreational running.
Grades (mixed) open to all schools and home school students aged 7-13 years. Male and female athletes will race together in each grade.
Age 7 – 1.2km;
Age 8 – 1.2km;
Age 9 – 1.2km;
Age 10 – 2.5km;
Age 11 – 2.5km;
Age 12/13 – 2.5km.
Teams competition:
- Schools can enter a 3 person team in any grade, there is no restriction on entries. The first 3 across the line will contribute to the teams competition.
The top 3 male and female individuals and teams in each grade will receive certificates/awards.
