"Dixie Street" - Australian Dixieland jazz band - hosted by Manawatu Jazz Club and on tour with their programme of lively Dixie style music from the "Golden Age of Jazz - 1900 - 1930" - King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton and others. Classic seven piece line up, including sousaphone - "A Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight", isn't just the title of their CD, this band should get your feet tapping, if Trad's your thing, or if you just like good music and company to match.
