Lunar Pupil & Guests

The current Lunar Pupil line-up of Daniel Lehrke (vocals / guitar / harmonica), Jarrod de Pont (bass), and Vincent Andersen (drums) has been together since mid-2009. Since then the lads have been writing and have generated a good and always growing fan base, playing gigs at Auckland’s premier and underground live music venues such as the Kings Arms and Juice Bar, and a number of shows throughout the North Island. Lunar Pupil brings together a unique mix of psychedelic and blues sounds with guitar-driven rock’n’roll, and they now have an extensive repertoire of diverse songs which are instant crowd-pleasers. Lunar Pupil is a band with huge ambition and confidence. They always draw in large crowds and will command attention at any gig with their interesting and unique sounds, cheeky banter and charisma, and their high energy, dancey grooves.

The three piece are a exceptional, one of a kind band and are one to watch in the future. A love of music and a love of partying make Lunar Pupil an enormously exciting live band on and off the stage.
