Dinner is interrupted by a gunshot. One of the guests has been shot but who did it? Can you help solve the murder?
Morrinsville Theatre’s latest production is Clueless, a murder mystery musical, written by Morrinsville’s Louise Blackstock.
Theatre spokeswoman Deborah May said rehearsals were well under way but the killer was unknown until the audience helped the police in their investigations during the performances.
‘‘Guests are welcome to join the characters of the wealthy Lord and Lady Blacks at a dinner party at their home (The Theatre, 17 Anderson St).’’
Other guests include Father Jade, a rather dodgy man of the cloth, Madam Skye, who has a wine glass permanently attached to her hand, and some other rather entertaining characters, with a special appearance by a famous rock singer. A lovely dinner, cooked by Blanche, will be served by the servant Mr Pink, said Mrs May.
The production is being staged from August 9 to 13 to coincide with the Morrinsville Arts Festival. Tickets are available from Wallace Gallery. Enquiries to Deborah May on 889 0002 or visit www.morrinsvilletheatre.co.nz.
