When you start to feed your baby, knowing what to feed is critical to avoid allergies and other food issues as well as the perfect time to cement healthy eating habits. Annaliese will talk about starting solids and infant feeding from 4 through to 9 months.
Topics will include:
* Our role as caregivers
* When is your baby ready for solids?
* What foods should I start with?
* How much food to feed your baby
* How much breast milk/formula to feed your baby
* Managing reflux and colic
* Avoiding allergies and intolerances
* Preparing nutritious foods at home, and more…
The session aims to be interactive, so please come prepared with any questions or issues you may wish to discuss.
Annaliese Jones
Annaliese Jones ND, BHSc, has extensive experience in the field of natural health. With her broad knowledge in nutrition, naturopathy and herbal paediatrics she is a busy practitioner at the Elementa natural health centre in Remuera, Auckland. Annaliese works in many areas including baby and child health, allergies and intolerances, women's hormonal health, weight management and digestive disorders. Warm and friendly, her passion for health comes through in her seminars to leave people feeling excited and inspired.
