Baby Talk® Baby Sign Language Basics & Advanced

Basics - Tuesday 30th August 7.30-9 pm
Learn how to use simplified signs with your baby or toddler to assist in their communication before spoken language is mastered. Robyn will show you how gestures or signs are a natural part of the way we communicate and that using this tool can help reduce frustration and tantrums.

Advanced - Tuesday 6th September 7.30 - 9 pm
This workshop carries on from the Baby Talk® basics workshop. It is recommended that this workshop is done a minimum of 6 weeks after you have started signing with your baby. In this workshop we cover advanced sign, frequently asked questions, storytelling and songs using sign. If you have any specific questions or challenges that you would like addressed, please e-mail them to robyn@babytalk.co.nz prior to the workshop.

Robyn Holt
Auckland Coach for Baby Talk New Zealand which was set up in 2002 to bring the world of baby sign language to Kiwi parents and caregivers. Robyn is mum to three children aged 6, 3 and 3 months, all of whom have enjoyed and benefited from the signing experience. Robyn has had many years experience working with and teaching kids of all ages as a leader for Girls’ Brigade, Mainly Music and Sunday School/Youth Group.
