Blues for Christchurch Blues and Wine Festival

An incredible 'Blues' tour of epic proportions is traveling all over New Zealand to raise funds for Christchurch families suffering from the Christchurch earthquake.

The 'Blues for Christchurch Tour' Kicks off in August to help the Salvation Army help fellow kiwis!

Performing on the tour is Kiwi international guitar player, Billy TK jnr with guests, The Flaming Mudcats, harmonica guru Ramblin Rick Stringer and a very rare co performance with the legendary Billy TK senior with his band the 'Band of Gypsies' and other guests!

Come to Sale Street on Sunday August 14th for a great day of music, food and Muddy Water wines. The day kicks off with a special Vip Muddy Water wine tasting luncheon between 12.30pm - 2.30pm at Dallows fine dining resturant with live music and then the general admission program kicks off with the awesome Auckland blues band, The Faming Mudcats.

Very exciting is the very rare opportunity to see father and son, Billy TK and Billy TK jnr perform together in what will be an incrediblle display of guitar playing!! Helping the day groove along will be harmonica guru Ramblin Rick Stringer with his brand of authentic soul wrenching blues harmonica.

50% of funds from this event will go to the Salvation Army in Christchurch where the money will be destined to help families and every ticket will enter a draw to win a trip for 2 to New Caledonia courtesy of GLP Hotels and La Promenade L'escapade and Le Parc Nouvata.
