We live in a technological world where the traditions of our family celebrations can be minimised by the TV, computer games and interruptions from mobile phones. Calling the family together to celebrate, to learn our traditions and to meaningfully remember loved ones is the domain of the older family members. What ways of celebrating festivals, birthdays, or honouring the death of loved ones are important to you and why? In what ways have our family celebrations altered either for the good, or the worse? How can we best pass on the important family rituals in a changing world?
