We aren't getting all exclusive on you now... NZ's grass-roots shredding scene is one of the best in the world and we want to show that off. So this year, the good cats at R&R Sport bring you the R&R Sport Jam Session to do just that! A 2.5 hour jam format comp with its own finals round and an almost $10,000 prize pool, including $3k in R&R Sport vouchers and a stack of sweet sponsor product.

The R&R Sport Jam Session is a chance to get amongst and prove your worth. So you don't have your own pro-model skis yet? That's cool... we are down for anyone who has some moves and the balls to throw em' downtown. Our goal is to host a competition that turns down the suck and turns up the fun whether you are looking for exposure, chance to win some goods, or just in it for a laugh. Plus, the top three placing skiers and boarders in the Jam Session receive a "wild card" invitation to the Grabaseat Invitational...

Registration is non-refundable. This investment gets you in the doors, will score you an R&R Sport competitor pack with some free loot from the sponsors, access to the Velvet Burger Riders Lounge during the event (with some sweet discounts), and the option to purchase a ticket to the official after party for $10 (usually $30 on its own).

Key info:
There are only 50 places available online, with the remaining 10 places going first-in, first-served from 2pm on Saturday the 20th down at the Octagon. Places are strictly limited... overcrowding sucks.

A liability waiver must be completed before you are allowed to set foot to snow. If you are under 18 this will need to be signed by a parent or guardian. You also will not be able to attend the afterparty (sorry!) as this is at a bar... Give us an email us at info@octagonrailjam.co.nz if you have any questions.

Are you 16 or under? Tick the box on your entry form, and show an ID when you check in at the event... you'll be in the running for the Grom Podium and a fresh set of prizes, including a pair of skis and a board!
