The Greater Auckland Chorus (GAC) is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an American organisation for women who sing unaccompanied four-part harmony, barbershop style. We sing popular favourites, Broadway show tunes, patriotic/spiritual music and jazz, as well as barbershop classics.
In 2010, GAC represented New Zealand at the Sweet Adelines International convention in Seattle, USA, after winning the 2009 NZ competition in Auckland with 643 points and an A- score!
We have 80+ members from the Greater Auckland district, and beyond - as far north as the Bay Of Islands and as far south as Ngaruawahia!
