Three bands, one from the deep South, the other two from just around the corner:
Thundercub:
Thundercub is a three-piece sound machine from Dunedin, whose aural assault has its origins in the math-minded electro-noise spectrum. If it were ever biologically possible (cʼmon science!) to create a bastard love-child of Final Fantasy VII, HDU, String Theory and The Mars Volta, Robert Christgau would implode, the space-time continuum would be torn another one, and you may come close to Thundercub.
God Bows to Math:
My band is better than your band. We got more songs than a song convention.
Black Science:
While we're at it with unnecessary comparisons in place of an actual description Black Science sound kind of like Huevo-era Meat Puppets covering the Rolling Stones with random bursts of Sonic Youth noise. If you hate comparisons such as this then please disregard that statement and just take my word for it that Black Science rule.
