The University of Auckland’s School of Music is pleased to present this mini-festival, in honour of composer Sofia Gubaidulina’s 80th birthday. The festival brings together a selection of New Zealand’s finest classical musicians in two free concert performances alongside talented School of Music students.

The weekend commences with a composition workshop led by senior lecturer and cellist Martin Rummel, discussing the composer, Sofia Gubaidulina.
