Jewish and Russian cultures take centre stage in this concert featuring award-winning cellist Peter Bruns with Music Director Eckehard Stier. The programme opens with Foss’ Elegy for Anne Frank; Bruns plays Bloch’s moving Schelomo (Hebrew Rhapsody); and we finish with Shostakovich’s powerful Tenth Symphony.
