Auckland Walks' "superb" 2-hour inner city walk, a hit with locals at recent heritage festivals, leaves from the Harbour Information Centre, Pier One in the Ferry Building, Quay Street, just next to the Fanzone. Our entertaining and enlightening walk leads you through the heart of the city, Albert Park and the University precinct. We tell the stories of Auckland through its history, landscape, architecture, public art and spaces. Bookings essential, via our website or phone 0800 300 100. Tours are conducted at a reasonable pace and mobility aids are not recommended. We walk up stairs and uphill on brief occasions.
