Aqstik Soul are an exciting and very talented duo consisting of Mal Lakatani on vocals and guitar and Semi Leo on vocals and bass guitar.

Hugely experienced, Mal and Semi have been performing regularly in the corporate scene and overseas (UK, USA, Australia and Pacific Islands) for almost two decades. They have also backed or performed with popular NZ acts such as Che Fu, King Kapisi, Te Vaka, J Williams, Ardijah, Lapi Mariner, Tommy Stowers, Aaradhna, Anonymouz, Hypnotics, Jamoa Jam, Tama Waipara, Frankie Stevens, Tyra Hammond (Open Souls), Lewis McCallum, DJ CXL, Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and many others.

As well as being accomplished musicians, Mal and Semi are both amazing singers. Aqstik Soul have a very diverse repertoire ranging from soul to jazz, rock to funk, reggae to old school, disco, rnb as well as top 20 and island music.
