Live comedy kicked off with a bang at Cavern last month and proved to be a great success, so we're gonna do it every month! So grab you diaries, and clear your schedule for Saturday April 23rd, cos that's the next one and once again we have a world class line-up to exercise your laugh muscles!

Featuring:

Jarred Christmas

Jarred Christmas has a unique style that deftly mixes gags with storytelling. He has a dynamic onstage persona and the ability to improvise and roll with anything that's thrown his way, making his comedy sizzle with originality.

He has made numerous appearances on UK television including Mock The Week, a show with a similar format to Nz's 7 days.

"One of the funniest men to pick up a microphone" - Time Out, London

Cohen Holloway

Billy T Award Nominee 2004, and an award winning actor, Cohen has featured in a host of NZ movies, including Eagle vs Shark and Boy. A master of a slew of different characters and voices, he is a unique act guaranteed to satisfy!

James Nokise

As Seen on:
Pulp Comedy
TV2 New Zealand International Comedy Gala
Cadbury Crunchie Comedy Gala
Christmas Comedy Gala

New Zealand's favourite Samoan/Welsh stand-up comic, James Nokise is the first Pacific Islander to work fulltime on the United Kingdom stand-up comedy circuit.

Twice nominated for New Zealand's top comedy award, James Nokise is also a veteran of two Edinburgh Fringe festivals including hosting and headlining duties during the inaugural "Best of Kiwi Showcase" in 2004. Since then he has risen to be one of the top young comedians in New Zealand, performing hugely successful one hour solo shows in four New Zealand International Comedy festivals.

"Use this as an excuse to go and catch a comedian who could be the "next big thing". - The Lumiere
