New Zealand's jazz & blues artists come together in a benefit concert for Christchurch. The concert is being organised by the Wellington Jazz Orchestra under the music direction of New Zealand jazz icon Rodger Fox. The Wellington Jazz Orchestra displays many of the capital's best jazz musicians who are presenting this concert in support of the music and arts sector of Christchurch which has been so badly hit in the earthquakes.
They will be joined in concert by Ray Woolf, Midge Marsden, Lisa Tomkins, Bella Kalolo, Erna Ferry, David Feehan and from Christchurch for this occasion will be Malcolm McNeil, Tom Rainey, Jennine Bailey and Mark Hadlow as MC. Plus there will be some surprise guests.
This concert brings together New Zealand’s finest jazz and blues musicians, guaranteed to bring the house down.
