An army of gamers, geeks, sci-fi nuts, comic fans and nerds will flock to the TSB Arena as the Armageddon Expo rolls into town on its annual pilgrimage.
This year, Armageddon plays host to an array of celebrities led by the superstar Kristanna Loken, most known for her role as a cyborg in Terminator 3. She is joined by Katee Sackoff, the actress who's played one of television's most complex, ever-evolving characters in Battlestar Galactica. Two generations of Doctor Who’s; Colin Baker (sixth) and John Leeson, voice of K9 are heading to Wellington.
Armageddon promises to be the ultimate weekend experience with gaming, comics, anime, sci-fi, TV and movie stars, panel discussions, comic and voice artists and cosplay - just a few of the many features taking place over the two action-packed days. Popular with masses, the expo attracts a crowd of thousands from families to gamers, the young, the old and the ugly; after all, the expo is a great mix of pulp culture at its finest.
