Anna Coddington is one of New Zealand’s foremost heroines of independent pop music, as is evident on her debut album The Lake. Her second album Cat and Bird is due out in time for the Festival and her songs sound better than ever.
She comes to Wanaka with a stand-out band. On drums Riki Gooch (Trinity Roots, Eru Dangerspiel), on bass Mike Hall (Night Choir and Pluto), on guitar Ned Ngatae (played with Hollie Smith amongst others), and L.A. Mitchell on keyboards (she came with her band to the 2009 Festival, and she also plays with the Dukes and with Dave Dobbyn).
Anna has been kicking around the New Zealand music scene for some time now and is moving increasingly into the limelight, playing gigs like Eru Dangerspiel. Don’t miss the chance to hear her live with such a stunning band!
