Introduce yourself to the wonder of the Waiorongomai Valley and enjoy a unique kid's Gold Rush on this leisurely stroll through history. Remains of the tramway and gold mining machinery lend a sense of magic to this day out, which ends with an optional picnic and swim at Te Aroha Leisure Pools. Duration: 3 hours; track Grading: 3; Car pool to Waiorongomai carpark. Gold coin donation appreciated.
