Fresh from a 20,000 mile road trip around the USA, musician and blues scholar Midge Marsden presents a tribute inspired by the great bluesman Son House – the man who inspired Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and Eric Clapton and the new generation of blues exponents like Jack White and John Mayer.

Midge’s show will have you grooving and marvelling again at the colourful lives of the early bluesmen. With accompanying road-trip slides Midge and his band will uplift you and remind you of the roots of jazz and rock. Get your blues shoes on!

Midge Marsden - vocals, guitar & storytelling; Chet O’Connell - guitar, Neil Hannan - bass; Mike Abbot - drums; Liam Ryan - Hammond B3 & grand piano.
