The tragedy that struck Christchurch a fortnight ago left many Aucklanders wondering what they could do to help. Acknowledging that cash is what’s most needed, the dancers at North Shore’s L’Academie de Danse were quick to come up with a plan to raise funds in the best way they know how – by performing.
As a charitable trust The PumpHouse isn’t able to donate cash but can provide the theatre and production expertise to L’Academie de Danse for free, enabling them to donate all proceeds to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.
Dancers Donate will feature jazz, contemporary and hip hop groups performing pieces that respectfully acknowledge what Christchurch is going through. Enjoy an evening of dance and make this your donation to our friends in Christchurch.
