What would it be like to leave your home and travel all the way across the world to a strange country? Lots of women married New Zealand men who were stationed in their countries during World War II, and then joined them in New Zealand when the war was over. Find out what it felt like to be a child of these wartime parents when you become an Unaccompanied Minor. Travel from England under the kindly care of our Nanny Gilbert. Decide what to take, what to leave behind and take the epic journey to Aotearoa, your new home.

Numbers limited. Children aged 6+, pick up your Unaccompanied Minor pass from the ticket desks on the day and meet at the Big Red Arrow in the Atrium. Free. Approx 40 minutes. Parents can pick up their children from the Atrium.
