New Zealand’s first ever couture bridal fashion week is set to elevate some of New Zealand’s most prestigious and awarded bridal fashion designers, alongside two of the world’s most acclaimed and iconic couture bridal designers, Cymbeline of Paris and Ruben Perlotti of Barcelona. The Auckland Bridal Fashion Week (BFW) will, without doubt, be the wedding event of the year.
Bridal Fashion Week Auckland will be held at the stunning upper deck venue, The Dome, of the Auckland Museum at the Domain.
Beginning with a gala cocktail evening of glamour and entertainment on Friday 1st April which will include New Zealand bridal couture, designer catwalk, young designer, Pacifika bridal designs, bridal wearable art, bridal body painting and a finale with New Zealand’s Bride of the Year judged by our two international designers, a celebrity and a bride-to-be. The week will end with a Best of the Best Charity Show with local celebrities modelling the designers’ most inspired gowns.
A trade day will take place on Monday 4th April and is for the public to meet with designers. Designer gowns can be bought direct off the rack and fitting rooms and assistants will be available.
