Meccano exhibition:

Come and enjoy the New Zealand Meccano Exhibition 2011, showcasing an impressive range of working and static Meccano models including: cranes, ships, aeroplanes, trucks, cars, railway locomotives, bulldozers, trucks, an Eiffel Tower and fairground rides.

A working diorama of mechanical things, ‘Meccanoland’, and a large Ferris wheel that stands about 2.3 metres high on a standard table will also be on display, this is a not to be missed experience.

So that everyone can have a go at creating their own fine Meccano masterpiece, there will be a hands on ‘Play Room’ that will have Meccano materials for you to come and construct at your leisure.

Leading up to and over the weekend will be the opportunity for you to test your creative skills against others in the Meccano Creations competition, more information about this will be available shortly.

Hornby trains exhibition:

A fascinating Hornby Trains display, including a full track layout, working models, exhibition tables and Hornby Duplo.

Diecast toys:

Some fantastic toys on display including iconic brands such as Dinky, Corgi, Matchbox plus much much more.
