A new annual autumn cycle classic - 160km. A bike challenge to Match Taupo and Taranaki - are you up for it?

This exciting new event will take place in heartland Manawatu. The Country Road Cycle Classic will give you a wide range of experiences including stunning views of rural back country farm land. Tough hill climbs and long wide fast descents after Apiti are a feature of the course. The start will be from the square in Palmerston North with the finish on Main Street outside Memorial Park. Riders will be encouraged to continue cycling to the square for after race entertainment.

This cycle event caters for all levels of cyclists and there are several options to choose from: Premier Male 160kms, Solo 160kms, 2 person relay 80kms each, 3-4 person relay 160kms.

Teams need to provide their own support vehicles. The event will culminate with a prize giving at 6.00pm.
