New Zealand is a nation of animal lovers, and none more so than leading impressionist photographer Eva Polak.
For years, as she captured her images of New Zealand’s environment and wildlife for her internationally-renowned works, she was accompanied by her beloved dog Chucky.
Last year, after a six-year battle with epilepsy, Chucky died. Eva is celebrating Chucky’s life in a new exhibition, Walking the Dog. Featuring her impressionist photographs of dogs, Walking the Dog has something for art lovers but also for dog lovers.
Eva will donate all proceeds and will also publish a book of photographs of dogs to accompany the exhibition.
New Zealand’s leading impressionist photographer, Eva Polak has shown work at Colorado’s Center for Fine Art Photography. She has been published in Practical Photography, on digital-photography-school.com, and has produced two books: At the beach, a collection of images; and Impressionist photography techniques, outlining ways to use your camera for painterly effect.
Eva Polak invites you to join her Walking the Dog, and raise money to support the SPCA’s work with animals.
