The IPMT offers a developmental pathway for the registered health professional interested in seeking new insights and wider directions for their professional orientation and to meet patient needs. It includes a practical introduction to deeper diagnostic faculties based in a training of sense perception as well as an orientation to the medicines and therapies used in Anthroposophic Medicine (AM).
AM is an integrative approach that incorporates a psychical and spiritual dimension to contemporary medical practice. It is an extension of conventional medicine used by those seeking to broaden their clinical skills and find cohesiveness between their inner experience of the human being and the current medical model. Essential to this approach is a methodology that develops the observational and contemplative skills of the practitioner. The conference is being held from April 22-29 in Napier.
