This racing event celebrates Ron Roycroft and the vintage car era. You will be transported back to last century with these vehicles that are so rarely taken out of their garages!
There will be races for pre-war, post-war, 1960s vintage sports cars, historic single-seater sports racing cars, Formula Juniors, Formula Ford and pre 1963 motorcycles.
In addition to the racing there will displays of vintage cars, vintage speedway midgets and Ralph Watson's WW1 aero engines, steam and stationary engines. The posh picnic ladies will also be making an appearance!
Add to this the enjoyment of wine, food and jazz bands on Sunday and you have a great Easter weekend full of nostalgic cars. The kids will love the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Cars (and if they are under 12 years they are free too!).
