Big Faces, Big Names: Portraits from The Dowse.

Take a close look at portraits from The Dowse collection, including renowned New Zealand artists Rita Angus, Frances Hodgkins and Toss Woollaston. Examine elements of their works, like pose, gaze, style and setting. Featuring hands-on activities, children and their families will see how portraiture can convey the personality of its subjects.

Pick up a 'Who Am I' postcard, sketch up your own self portrait and be in to win a family photographic portrait by Wellington photographer, Mark Tantrum. Place your entry in the box in The Dowse foyer or post it to us.
