Each year Soljans organise their annual Croatian Harvest Festival based at the winery in Kumeu - either book for lunch and soak up the festival atmosphere, or go out to the winery between 9am and 5.30pm to take part in the many family friendly events:

- Daily winery tours at 11am and 1.30pm
- Free daily grape stomping at 2.15pm
- Dalmatian Kolo dance group at 3pm (Sunday) and Croatian "Kralj Tomislav" ensemble 3pm (Monday)
- Live music by Dean Te Paa 12-3pm (Sunday & Monday)

There is always a buzz around the winery when the grapes are being harvested. If you've harboured a secret desire to stomp on grapes, this is your opportunity. After crushing those grapes underfoot, you can also indulge in wine tasting and enjoy Croatian food platters while relaxing to the live music. The kids are looked after too with free face painting and Easter eggs.

To see how a top winery operates, join their daily tours at 11am and 1.30pm and get some inside knowledge from our friendly team. This is also your chance to taste the “novo vino” (fermenting grape juice).

(No BYO food or wine. If you don't wish to dine in the cafe, platters and wine are available to purchase in the garden bar on the lawn.)
