Ben McDonald and The Interislander present the team that brought you Grumpy Old Women with the perfect present this Christmas...

Party Girls, starring Geraldine Brophy, Pinky Agnew and Lyndee-Jane Rutherford.

Where is the voice of sensible womanhood? Where is the Party that reflects not just the grass roots and the flax roots, but the retouched roots, too? Who has their sleeves rolled up, and will wield the broom that will sweep New Zealand clean? Who will poke the big boys where it hurts?

The answer is obvious and the intrepid three vow to bring their grumpy wisdom to the nation once again

The Party Girls are on the campaign trail near you! Don't miss them! There's only one way to survive 2011 - laugh!

Geraldine Brophy:
Leading lady and 'Dancing with the Stars' diva, Geraldine Brophy is one of New Zealand's best known actors. She has an award-winning career that has spanned theatre, film and television. She won Best Actress at the Qantas Film and TV Awards as the star of Second Hand Wedding and has appeared in New Zealand films In My Father's Den and King Kong, and iconic television shows Shortland Street, Outrageous Fortune and Seven Periods With Mr Gormsby. Her latest film, Hook, Line and Sinker, is released in early 2011.

Geraldine first came to the attention of the New Zealand public as Moira, the loveable receptionist on Shortland Street. She has also appeared throughout the country with numerous stage roles at The Auckland Theatre Company, Wellington's Circa and Downstage Theatres and The Court Theatre in Christchurch. Her writing credits include the wonderful Viagra Monologues and Confessions of a Chocoholic.

Pinky Agnew:
Pinky Agnew is a New Zealand writer, MC, actor, social commentator and celebrant.

As well as entertaining and motivating corporate clients, she writes and performs, including her one-woman show Pinky Pops In. Pinky is also heard on Justin du Fresne's show on NewstalkZB, with her weekly Pink Report, and joins Te Radar and Kathryn Ryan for a monthly satirical look at the news on Radio New Zealand National.

She and Loraine Parry appeared on television's McPhail and Gadsby, and they went on to write three plays together. Their third, Sex Drive, will play at Circa Theatre in 2011.

In the 2004 Pinky was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for her services to entertainment.

Lyndee-Jane Rutherford:
Lyndee-Jane is a familiar face on stage and screen from her days on New Zealand sketch comedy shows Skitz, Telly Laughs and The Semisis. But your children or grandchildren would most certainly recognise her from her days on What Now TV!

She also stars in the TVNZ 6 kids' show Giggles, made especially for children under the age of 3 years. Her theatre credits and accolades span 15 years. She has been nominated for both Actress of the Year and Supporting Actress of the Year at the Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards. She also won Most Promising Director of the Year in 2006 and has been a prominent directing figure around New Zealand in the last three years.
