Public open day. Radio controlled model-flying demonstrations with all types of aircraft - aerobatic, racers, helicopters, jets and some novelty models (a flying saucer? A witch?).
Managed by The Roskill Modellers Club on behalf of the Auckland Regional Airparks Trust, the site is ideal for Aero-modellers and spectators alike. There is ample grandstand viewing from the grassy banks overlooking the flying area and there is generous air-space and runway for the fliers.
