Due to the recent Christchurch earthquake, the Canterbury Philharmonia Orchestra presents a revised concert entitled '…and the band played on.'
Everyone is cordially invited to come and spend a relaxing hour or so listening to a varied programme which includes such well known favourites as: the Grand March from Aida, a medley from Pirates of the Caribbean and works from Grieg and Elgar. Admission is free but there will be an opportunity to make a donation to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, if you wish to do so.
Concert-goers are invited to join the orchestra for supper at the conclusion of the programme.
