Waipu Carnival

The Waipu Easter Carnival is guaranteed to be a fantastic, colourful, community event that will offer a fun and entertaining day out for all. All proceeds will go to the Waipu Primary School towards a new adventure playground.

There will be plenty to keep the kids & adults occupied including: mini hot rods, ITM hyper simulator – petrol heads' dream, giant slide, bouncy castle, smash palace, paintball, horse rides, mini golf, face painting, hand made gifts & crafts, home made preserves, yummy food, cakes, sweets, coffee, popcorn, candyfloss, plants, white elephant, quick fire raffles and an auction at 11am!

Furthermore, in true country style, the carnival’s annual mad lawn mower race will see contestants battle it out to take out this year’s title. Meanwhile anyone who has ever dreamed of pursuing a career in competitive motorsport can slide into the Formula One style cockpit of Waipu ITM’s Hyper Stimulator race car simulator. This super-cool ride comes complete with torsion steering, adjustable seating positions, and tensioned accelerator pedals providing real life effects, especially as you slow down from 270 km/h for a hairpin bend!

So for a great day out of live entertainment, delicious festive fare, games and rides galore and good
old-fashioned community spirit, head up to Waipu and join in the fun.
