A contemporary dance show exploring the progressions of life and relationships. We enter the world naïve and hopeful, learning from our family and friends. As we age, people enter and leave our lives, and we never can know what we will happen next. Enjoy the journey, for this is the rhythm of life.
This community-coordinated performance features dancers from the City Dance Company with appearances by the Renaissance School of Dance, Topaz Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, and “Fun and Yum” representing Ceroc Auckland Central.
About City Dance Company:
We are a community-run organisation created to support and foster the growth and creativity of dance in Auckland on a community level. Our participants range from all levels of performance background, and we welcome anyone interested in learning and experiencing ballet and dance. We have a weekly ballet class at City Dance Centre on Sunday mornings that is open to the public free of charge. City Dance Company is funded by Creative New Zealand, Auckland City Council and supported by City Dance and City Ballet Foundation Inc.
