"Squirm" is a statement by Onesie to mark their current standing – a position bookended by an ambitious past and a very welcoming future. It gives off a sullen moodiness which, encased in filth, is more enlightening than you’d expect. But expectation hardly comes into it with how often this otherwise playful twosome will shock. “Moon Rock” was their idea of what their debut EP sounded like – and now more than ever, the double-term articulates Onesie’s distant, rare kind of nature. The tides, too, change with the moon.

Earlier this year, Onesie set off with only a debut EP to cover more ground than most other bands their age. After having already opened for The Clean in March, many eyes are now fixed on whatever Onesie will do next.
