Urban Latin street music fusing with hip hop and R&B and Club Electronica sounds. An alliance of street cultures between Cuba and New Zealand.
Lankino, who toured Cuba and worked with Trespeso Music under the urban music maestro Kiki Pro, and DJ Kako of Santiago, Chile, are both Auckland residents, and have been gigging around Auckland ever since Lankino's return from Cuba in late 2009.
Plenty of street appeal, flair and irresistible Latin urban rhythms with lyrical flow delivered both in English and Spanish. Best of both worlds. Release party at Auckland's Latin hotspot - Wildfire Bar. This Friday 01 April. Mixtape available on the night from Lankino and Dacio Ferreira (Event Manager) for $20.
