Ex Queenstown now Wellington based K-lab is one half of breakthrough live drum n bass act Blackplanet, with DNB firmly under his belt he has turned his attention to creating some hip hop influenced electrofunkwampdilliawobawobaloobopglitchparty bass music.

K-lab's first release Wrecked feat. Analog MC came out last year on Wellington based Empathy records and instantly hit number one on the Addictech charts and also became one of Addictechs top 10 bangers of 2009. Wrecked received remix duties from Opiuo (Aus), Evil (NZ), White Pappoo (UK) and France-based the Imprintz and Kloe and is still ripping up dancefloors worldwide.

With the success of Wrecked, K-lab was keen to get in the studio and rock out an EP. 6 months on, The Whole World's Ill EP hit the airwaves with force seeing DJ support all throughout NZ and overseas. 2011 will see the next string of releases hit planet earth with "Talking Smack" dropping on UK label Skanky Panky Records and a collaboration with the talented J dubs as well as some remixes for Auckland hip hoppers Kolab and William Breakspear, it's already looking like 2011 is gonna be a stonking good time.

London born, Jdubs represents the truth and the light. Universally manoeuvring through mind pollution and systematic lies and manipulation to speak to one's soul. Knee deep in the beats, 9 rhymes later Jdubs is set to drop multiple albums.

Jdubs has featured on the Pacific Heights album In A Quiet Storm, toured with Shapeshifter and worked with beatmakers Parks, P-Money and Charles Kickens.
