While we know that God’s Spirit is deeply involved in the event of God’s coming among us at Christmas, we sometimes overlook the presence of the Spirit in this great event. In the first session, we will attempt to deepen our understanding of the Spirit’s involvement in the incarnation with the aid of the elements, Air and Earth. The second session will continue this exploration by appealing to the elements of Fire and Water. The sessions will draw on sources such as scripture, the Christian tradition and contemporary poetry.
