The Auckland Disability Providers Network believes that "Auckland is disabled in terms of funding Disability." Six Mayoral candidates for the Auckland Super City are asked: "How will you ensure that Auckland gets its fair share of funding?"

One third of the NZ population lives in Auckland, at least one third of New Zealanders with disabilities live here, but we do not receive a third of the available funding.

We also would like the candidates to answer:
- How will you ensure that the NZ Disability Strategy is referred to by all committees and officers before decisions are made?
- Will barrier free audits be carried out on all public buildings and places?
- How will council funding be allocated to community organisations?
