MOTAT’s latest addition to the tramway fleet is 1906 Wellington Double Decker tram ‘Big Ben’.
Come to MOTAT today for the chance to ride ‘Big Ben’ for the first time after an official launch ceremony at 11am. There will also be a parade of trams directly following the ceremony, including one with a brass band!
Lovingly restored by MOTAT’s volunteers, this opportunity is not to be missed. A return tram ride is free with MOTAT entry. Off the street tram fares are family pass $5, adult one way $1, adult return $2, child one way 50 cents, child return $1, under 5 years free.
