Experience a day of Indonesia. The festival organized by the Auckland Indonesian Students' Association in Auckland & Rumah Indonesia will showcase the culture, crafts, tourism, and film production of Indonesia through the following activities:

Festival Indonesia showcasing:
* Indonesian crafts (Bali paintings, Batiks)
* Various workshops (learn how to make a batik, learn basics of Indonesian traditional dance, etc.)
* Visit Indonesian tourism desk
* Komodo Island "Home of the world’s larget living lizard" display
* Colouring “Komodo” competition for the audience
* Indonesian traditional clothing picture taking

Emak Ingin Naik Haji
The story about a mother who wishes to go to the Moslem Pigramage (Haj):The figure of a mother – called Emak – with a simple life, who is working as a pastry cook. She lives with her son, Zein, who is working as a painter. Emak is a simple person, gentle spoken, innocent and she fully believes in God.

Generasi Biru
A musical film as celebration 25 Slank years of the musical trip. The story began when Slank met with leading figures who had trauma towards the violence, politics, drugs and love. Bimbim met small child who always hide under the table because he saw his parents was kidnapped when he was playing under the table. Kaka met Nadine, Ivan and Ridho, figures of animal humanity who behaved like the animal to highlight their conditions; while Abdee met a mother of a children which was kidnapped in the reform period. Slank tried to oppose various forms of the violence that caused these traumas. In the long run they could together go out towards the Blue Island.

Ruma Maida
Maida is a clumsy yet idealistic girl. She manages a school for street children in an abandoned old building. One day, a businessman buys the lot and plans to turn it into a business center. In danger of being thrown out, Maida struggles to retain the place where she has been educating the children. In her struggle, Maida uncovers the mystery of the old house. Apparently the building was a silent witness to a solemn story and tragic love between two people in the struggle for nationhood and independence of Indonesia. How can the history of the building save the place? Will Maida be able to keep the free school for the children?

Sang Pemimpi
Andrea Hirata tells of life in high school days. The three main characters are Ikal, Arai and Si Kuda. Ikal-alter is Egon of Andrea Hirata. Arai's distant relatives of orphaned sempei keramat called because the last family member still alive, and eventually become sworn brothers and Jimbron-an orphan who was obsessed with horses and stutters when enthusiastic about something or when nervous.

Perempuan Punya Cerita
Four women filmmakers tackle four different stories about lives of marginalized women in Indonesia: in "Chant From an Island", a midwife in a deserted island sacrifices her dying health to rescue a mentally challenged woman; in "Chant From a Tourist Town", a high-school student toys around with an overwhelming access to free sex, which may put her life in jeopardy; in "Chant From a Village", a single mother is forced to see her daughter and her best friend fall victims to women and children trafficking syndicate; and in "Chant From the Capital City", a middle class Chinese woman is about to be separated from her only daughter because of an HIV threat.
