The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
(Japan, 2006, PG - Low level offensive language, 98 mins) Anime
Presented in collaboration with the Japan Information and Cultural Centre and the Japan Foundation as part of the Japanese Film Festival..

A teenage girl finds that she has the ability to leap through time. With her new-found power, she tries to use it to her advantage, but soon finds that tampering with time can lead to some rather discomforting result. Set twenty years after the events in novel Toki o Kakeru Shojo by Yasutaka Tsutsui, the film focuses on a high school girl who inadvertently gains the power to travel through time and begins using it frivolously to fix problems.

Free admission however a ticket is needed to secure a seat. These are available from the ticket counter from 5pm each day. No bookings.
