In Glutton’s Diary, two emerging Wellington-based artists present provocative and diverse visions of contemporary unease. German photographer Lennart Maschmeyer’s contemplative travelogues document his experiences over six continents, while New Zealand painter Dominic McElwee’s meticulous grotesques explore a range of drawing and painting media.

They combine for an exhibition both lyrical and lewd, classic and contemporary. Crude or elegant images share the same wall – and sometimes the same picture – for an atmosphere of instability and change.
