A full day of musical excitement and entertainment for the entire family! Come and meet the musicians and experience the excitement of the NZSO with a fun-filled day of free concerts! Conductor Luke Dollman; Narrator Nigel Collins.

10.30am: Get up-close and personal with the ‘NZSO in Miniature’ and learn about each of the instruments that make up the orchestra.

12 noon: Hear the NZSO perform the much-loved children’s classic Peter and the Wolf by Prokoviev.

2pm: Come back after lunch for ‘Daring Deeds and Fantastic Adventures!’ – a concert of symphonic music inspired by myths and fairy stories.

Throughout Te Papa. Free entry.
