The Elios Ensemble will perform for the Waikanae Music Society as part of their nation-wide Chamber Music New Zealand tour. Formed in 2007 by four experienced string players (violinists Martin Jaenecke and Konstanze Artmann, violist Victoria Jaenecke and cellist Paul Mitchell), the ensemble's aim is to collaborate with guest artists to explore a variety of well-known and less familiar repertoire. For this tour their guest performer is flautist Karen Batten. Together they will present a programme full of musical treats.
